Great views, spacious rooms, all the amenities you need.

Was truly great, but if there was one tiny thing I would request extra dish towels.

Great views from the unit. It was quite spacious and the provision of a couch made it more pleasant to watch TV. Bed was very comfortable. The welcoming packet of chocolates was great and unexpected. The owner/host was a very friendly, helpful and pleasant person. There is a foodmarket/store about a 2 min drive away as well as a bar. We saw a fish & chip shop a little further along the road. Don, the owner was very knowledgeable about local attractions including the free ones so take advantage of his knowledge if you are a newbie to Taupo. Very restful and NO traffic noise.

Amazing view and the room feels private despite being under the owners abode. The outdoor seating and spa area were very nice.

The ceiling is a little low and creaky. Bathroom is tiny. Sofa bed was a bit uncomfortable.

As a suggestion, a blanket/ duvet cover on the bed?

The view and spaciousness of the bedroom and kitchen / lounge.

There's a bit of mould in the bathroom and dirt in the corners that can be cleaned

Top accommodation! Very spacious and well planned to accomodate from a couple to a large group. Views are just amazing! House clean and well equipped with appliances you need and more. Relax in spa pool, while again taking in the views. Don the owner is the best, such a nice friendly person, great to communicate with, prompt replies and went out of his way to accommodate accessibility needs for our family. Property had a great family feel to it.
