Acacia Bay Bach - Views, Spa & Serenity - Taupo

We loved Acacia Bay so much!! Our fav stay in New Zealand, and we have slept in 5 different locations! Don, the host was suuuuuuper nice and his hospitality is extraordinary. The apartament that we got had private access to the terrace and we literally had private jacuzzi as at the time there were no other people there! So cool! The host gave us super nice welcome gift, went for us to the Main street upon arrival when we got lost, also left us nice messages and access to washing and drying area.

The apartment could have a little more space to unpack. Everything more was just perfect :)

Great place to relax and close to the human falls with all the walks and mtb tracks. Great view towards Taupo and the lake

Location excellent, great setup and Don is a fabulous host.

The views were amazing and the bed configuration was great for my extended family

Don was an incredible host. Friendly and helpful. Accommodation was close to the course venue. Beautiful view.

Kitchen only had microwave, no other cooking facilities, so more a kitchenette than full kitchen so we couldn't really cook meals and had to opt for take out all nights. Toilet set up was not ideal. Toilet blocked and drained slowly.

Our stay at this property was absolutely amazing. The place was incredibly clean and comfortable, and the spa with a view was a fantastic bonus. However, the highlight of our stay was Don, the host. He was the best host we’ve ever had—kind, attentive, and always making sure we were okay. Don truly made us feel welcome, like we were at home. We can’t recommend this place enough!
