Acacia Bay Bach - Views, Spa & Serenity - Taupo

Excellent location and views, host was very friendly and everything was great!

Easy checkin and chackout process. Accacia bay is located 6min drive from Taupo center, it is very quiet and relaxing spot. We had a room with a view on the lake and we could use jacuzzi provided by the host which was great. Room is big , bed very comfortable, big size kitchen and small bathroom however host offered bigger one - for us it was more than enough. Host - Don is very friednly and supportive. If I could I would stay longer.

The hot tub was great, and we staying on Valentine’s Day so there was a cute towel set up on the day with a thank you card and a box of Lindt chocolates

Very nice view on lake Taupo, quiet place, large room with separate kitchen and dining area, outside table, possibility to use the jacuzzi with a view, friendly reception by owner

The absolute highlight of this place is the hot tub and the nice views! It’s very clean and our host was super friendly and accommodating. We didn’t find the bathroom too small, as some have mentioned. Whakamoenga Point is just a few minutes drive away and has fantastic and secluded lava stone beaches, perfect for jumping into the water for a refreshing swim.

The sofa bed is quite soft and really suitable only for children. There is a good electrical bbq on the yard for making burgers and steaks, but there is no stove so you can’t boil pasta or fry eggs. Acacia Bay is outside the pickup area of the Tongariro Alpine Crossing shuttles, so you need to get into Taupo proper to get picked up.
