Great location, the price was OK (although it would have been better if there was some staff available). Elevator would have been nice.

I really disliked that the property does not have have an elevator. The outside noise was a lot in the early hours of the mornings but I guess that’s the price to pay for being in a central location.

Room was very hot, steps a challenge (I am a senior)

We loved the location. So close to the subway station made it easy to get everywhere we needed to go without having a car. We liked having an on-site laundry facility. We liked the fully stocked kitchen. Free laundry soap provided in our room. We liked that it was 800 dollars cheaper for the week than any other hotel in that area.

No TV in the room. We didn't spend a lot of time in our room, but one rainy day we were indoors a little more and it would have been nice to have had a TV in the room. We didn't like the bedding. Very thin comforter. We didn't like that we only had one set of towels for the whole week and no washcloth. We did have laundry available but It does cost. To be fair we had free laundry soap from the facility. It just would have been nice to have maybe 2 for a week and a wash cloth option. Didn't like that bathroom shower didn't seem to be clean everyday. We didn't mind rhe shared facilities but didn't like having other peoples hair in the shower everyday.

Bathrooms and Kitchen were clean

After arriving, I immediately noticed that my door lock was broken. Despite informing the staff, no one seemed to care, and no service was provided throughout my stay. To make matters worse, on the final night the smoke alarm went off repeatedly, sending test alarms all night long. I barely slept, and even after calling the emergency number, no solution was offered. Overall, this was a terrible experience — I would never recommend staying at this hostel. Beside that: the centralised climate is loud, my window was broken so that it was not able to open it.

The price is reasonable for Boston and the location is close to transit.

This was a good budget friendly option for a single night after a late flight. The room was basic but comfortable and the bed was very nice. The shared bathroom worked out fine. The location was perfect for catching the red line transit. Very convenient!

The location was perfect, right across from the red line station, with shops and restaurants just downstairs. The room was clean and comfortable, and the shared bathroom was always spotless. Check-in was easy, and I appreciated the complimentary towels, laundry soap, and coffee.

The morning noise from trucks right outside my window was quite disturbing, and the long stairs made it difficult to carry my heavy luggage up and down.
