garden view apartment

The flat was very well maintained, with modern design. The space has been used very efficiently and has everything you would need in terms of cutlery, pots and pans. Took me a while to adjust to the area for things like parking but the host was very helpful and gave information that was very helpful. Heated floor and a nice sized garden was lovely too. Also was very happy with how clean the place is overall!

It was a beautiful location The property had everything we needed.

Ok, the bedroom right under the bathroom and that was so noisy that we heard every turd and pee coming past.. quiet disturbing. That nobody else has noticed are spoken about. From a building point of view. I would insulate and double board the soil pipes and ceiling..

Lovely little space, well equipped

Apartment was clean and tidy; even had tea bags and sachets of milk available on arrival! We had Apartment 4, which was in the Basement, accessed via a narrow stairwell. Whilst the apartment is advertised as being sound-proofed; that was definitely not apparent. We could hear alot of noise the guests in the appartment above us made especially when they used the toilet! Unfortunately the toilet in the appartment above was directly above the main bedroom in our appartment and we could hear everything they were doing in the bathroom; which wasnt great when being woken up at 6:30am every morning hearing them going to the toilet!! Apart from the noise, the rest of the apartment, the location and host(s) were very good. The Host (Cheryl) was very helpful and answered the phone straight away when I called due to sat nav taking us on the dirt track road behind the apartment instead of just outside on the main road. Location is good with a small cafe, Tesco Express, Londis and a few take away shops all close by (walking distance). Bangor, Betws-y-coed and other large towns are a drive/bus ride away (25mins). Bethesda and the apartment are a good base and you can easily get to the main mountain areas (The Gylders, Snowdon/Yr Wyddfa, etc) and other attractions quite easily. There is a bus stop outside which can take you to Bangor and some of the moutain areas (The Glyders, Tryfan, etc.); but anything further afield will require a car or several bus journeys. Also ZipWorld "Penrhyn Quarry" is a short walk away from the apartment.

The main and appartent issue is the noise from the apartment upstairs, especially their use of the toilet. Unfortunately we could hear them using the toilet and shower and then the loud flushing noise after. This wasnt good considering our main bedroom is directly below the toilet of the apartment above; this led to us being woken up in the early hours as well at 6:30am when the guests above started got up and begin their day! You can also hear the guests in the apartment above walking about, moving around, etc.

A very clever use of space. The flat was clean and every kitchen amenity was there. Our daughter enjoyed the etcha sketch and the puzzles. The village of Bethesda is quiet but it’s 20 - 25 minutes drive from Bangor, betws y coed, lambergis lake, and Snowdonia.

The low ceiling as you go down the stairs and the fact you could hear very clearly every time the flat upstairs flushed the toilet. We informed the host we’d be bringing a travel cot but there wasn’t really any suitable place to set it up.

Very clean and tidy. Good value for money.

The only thing really was the flat above were quite noisy and we could hear all their movements but we were out all day so it was just in the mornings and evenings.
