Die Wohnung war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und meine Tochter und ich haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Der Weg in die Stadt (Fahrstuhl) auch easy.

Gibt es nichts.

Wonderful l break in Bilbao . The chess house is in a very secure building and close to everything. Walking distance to main attraction in Bilbao . Very well situated . Joshua was the host was nice and gave us some very useful tips . I will definitely come back . Everything was excellent 👌

Posizione comodissima, struttura molto pulita, ideale per una famiglia di 3 persone, staff molto cordiale e disponibile

Fantastic apartment, great facilities, good location within walking distance of the centre. Supermarket super close. Host was very communicative and helpful.

We stayed in the midst of a heatwave in Bilbao so the apartment was very hot. I appreciate this was exceptional weather and not the norm, but it did make it difficult to sleep at night.

El personal del alojamiento fue muy agradable y nos ayudó mucho cuando llegamos para explicarnos todo el tema del transporte.

Wohnung super ausgestattet, auch die schon etwas aufgeladene Barrik-Karte für Bus und Metro war dabei, sehr schnell in der Altstadt (mit Lift, eben typisch Bilbao) oder mit den Öffentlichen überallhin. Rollläden verdunkeln sehr gut, Milch, Brot, Marmelade, Kaffee gibt obendrauf. Super Service.

Im Bad muss mal ein wenig repariert werden (Fugen, Türgriffe).

Check in process was really easy. Clear information from the host and some essentials left for our use. Supermarkets nearby and friendly neighbourhood

It's up a substantial hill from the main parts of the city, not a problrm as there are lifts etc but something to consider if not very mobile

The Chess House is a one-bedroom fully self-contained apartment on the ground floor of a large apartment block in a Bilbao suburb about 1km from the historic old town and about 1.5km from the new town and the Guggenheim Museum. The area immediately around the apartment is quite hilly but a network of lifts and escalators, as well as the No. 28 Bilbobus stop nearby, improves access to those areas by the river. The apartment itself is spacious, comfortable and very well set up for self-catering. Josu, the apartment owner, takes great pride in his apartment, is an excellent communicator and was very attentive to our needs. He met us on arrival and showed us around and organised a taxi to the airport when we left.

It is a hilly area and somewhat away from the main tourist attractions of the city. The apartment is close to street level and there is inevitably some traffic noise.

Arrived 2 hours early, but Josu came and met us within 20 minutes and let us in early
