Regal Retreat Modern 2 bed apartment 400m from sea

Fantastic location close to the beach and town. Good size apartment and well equipped. Bathroom had both a bathtub and separate shower cubicle.

It was rather warm when we were there - providing a fan or two wouldn't hurt.

Beautifully clean apartment in an interesting and unique building with attractive features .Very well equipped with almost everything you could possibly need, light and spacious within an easy walk of all facilities . Useful designated parking spot .

Single bed a bit squeaky and kept guest awake . Flat is on the very upper floor which would be difficult for any guest with mobility issues or those in the older age group but once in the flat it was worth the climb

No welcome pack No easy guide to how the apartment functioned, Had to trawl through manufacturers' guidelines on the use of heating, oven, etc No instructions on waste disposal

The location to the beach

The lack of a draining facility at the sink. Stains on the mattress. Finding a random medicated pill in the bathroom.

We are fit 70 and 80 year old but the stairs were too much for us

We were celebrating Christmas with friends nearby so didn’t use many of the facilities, but the apartment seemed well equipped. Clean and comfortable, it had everything we needed for our stay. Good location for the beach and centre of town.

Since we were 2 couples it would have been useful to have another set of keys.

well located for exploring the town on foot and driving out further handy parking spaces close to shops and restaurants

we helpfully received a wifi password but weren’t told which network to login to would have been nice to know the royal history of the building
