9 Ipanema Umhlanga 5 Sleeper garden unit next to The Oyster Box Hotel

The location was spot on. Neighbours were friendly and unit was very clean. Great spot, walking distance to beach a big plus.

Parking was a problem with bakkie and security did not sssist much. Fridge does not really cool and some more kitchen utensils such as braai thongs, braaibak and grater would be nice.

The convenience of shops,restaurants, and access to the beach.You can literally park your car and walk around everywhere nearby.

My expectations were honestly met.

The location was superb. The accommodation itself was comfortable, clean and well equipped with necessities. Will definitely be booking again in the near future.

The location is perfect .Its close to the beach and restaurants..everything is walking distance . The shower was amazing.

The stairs is very scary especially with a toddler The beds were uncomfortable they all squeek when you turn.The bedding is outdated.The iron was broken.the ironing board was broken. The pots and pans were to small and damaged.The cuterly was not good at all.The bathroom light did not work so we had to shower in the dark in the evenings.The freezer was cracked in the inside and the fridge did not keep out things cool. The towels were very old looking aswell as the hangers were broken. To many monkeys outside if you leave your door attendant they would run inside .the front gate did not lock .

Location is great. Very convenient to the beach and shopping

I recently stayed at this property for two nights, and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected. Firstly, the property did not match the pictures provided. The decor and furniture were outdated and in poor condition. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, and it seemed that the bed in the main bedroom had a broken base. Additionally, the towels provided were dirty upon arrival. Safety was a significant concern. In the main bedroom, one of the lamps was broken, with exposed wires and a plug still attached. When my wife attempted to plug in working lamp it appeared to be the broken one. Which resulted in there being a loud and dangerous electrical buzz and pop, revealing a dangerous electrical hazard. This could have been a serious risk, especially with a three-year-old present. Furthermore, the bathroom shower light and the light on the stairs were both not functioning, adding to the overall inconvenience. While the access to the property was easy, the restrictions on amenities such as the pool and noise levels felt quite restrictive. Given that this accommodation is listed on Booking.com for holiday stays, the rules felt out of place and not conducive to a relaxing holiday experience. Overall, despite the low price, the condition and lack of amenities, along with safety hazards, made the stay disappointing. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously to improve future guests' experiences

Very noisy, not enough comfy chairs, no wine glasses, light not working in the family bathroom

Well it was nice but. 2 things was not working. Batbroom light. And toaster machine was not in working order but overall it was good

We love the central location. Everything you need is in walking distance. The apartment is spacious neat and has everything you need for your stay The pools and braais are lovely and conveniently located to the unit. Outdoor garden has a roof so even in poor weather you can appreciate the sea breeze
