Apartamento histórico en el Barri Vell, Girona

Beautifully renovated historic apartment.

Lovely apartment. Very well located in the old town. While central it still felt quiet & out of the way. Pretty spacious & well equipped. Good shower.

Bed a little small.

Fantastic location. Clean and well maintained. Host graciously allowed us to check in one hour early.

Poor water pressure for the shower and the water never got hotter than lukewarm. Poor instructions on how to access the WiFi. The taxi dropped off us off near the apartment but goggle maps had us drag our luggage up numerous steps in the heat to reach the apartment. Perhaps host could have a map to show how to get from the taxi drop off location to the apartment.

The location was perfect.

I'm a cook, so a few more cooking implements and basics like salt, pepper and pil would be good.

Property was decorated in a contemporary manner however still retained old world charm. The lift up and into the argument is a lovely touch and the facilities in the apartment were in excellent condition and everything there that you need.

We were very happy with the apartment itself. Ironically, the building has an elevator to go up one flight when you've already climbed so many others to get there. You step out of the elevator right into the apartment. It was roomy for two of us, with an ample living room, nicely stocked kitchen, a sitting room, and a smaller, but ample bedroom. Super clean and modern.

The key retrieval process is ridiculous. No one wants to travel all day to get somewhere and then have to make a separate trip to get keys. The office manager suggested we get a cab from the train station and have them wait until we picked up keys, but even though he knew we were coming, didn't have the paperwork ready and even wanted me to go to another room to sign the contract. Wasn't happy with the situation blindness he showed. It was a trek to the apartment. As others have said, not for someone with impaired mobility. Flat pillows. UGH.
