The Loghouse

El departamento es hermoso decorado con muy buen gusto y calidad. La cocina totalmente equipada vajilla, lavavajillas, horno, etc. Lavarropas, tender, plancha, todo lo que necesites en la estadía. Nuno el anfitrión fue muy amable.

El edificio tiene también oficinas públicas por lo que de día hay un guardia, eso está bien pero hay contenedores de basura dentro del hall de entrada y las áreas comunes tienen muy feo olor. La verdad es que cuando entras al depto sentís que estás en otro edificio porque está de diez! Otra cosa es que justo cuando nos alojamos estaba con problemas el desagüe la ducha del baño principal por lo tuvimos que bañarnos en el secundario que tiene una ducha pequeña no muy cómoda. Excepto por eso estuvo todo muy bien.

Loved, loved the location! It’s central to everything!!! It was spacious and AC worked well. It was able to provide us with comfort when we were there during a heat wave that lasted a few days. Nuno was very thorough on how to use all the appliances when we checked in. He also had the room ready for us before check in time which he didn’t have to do. I loved this apartment. We stayed at a different one our last couple of nights in Portugal and I wished I just booked this apartment again. I would absolutely go back in a heartbeat. Thank you, Nuno!

Finding it was a little tough because it’s not listed as The Loghouse in Google Maps or iPhone Maps. I should’ve made arrangements prior to our arrival on how to get the keys but I just called the number and Nuno met us downstairs right away so it was no problem at all.

Everything. The host, the location, the equipment…

The apartment is very nice and comfortable. The host was nice and explained where things were and how to use the new washer/dryer combination. The location is very good, with many good restaurants and tourist sites nearby and easy access to public transportation. We didn't cook but we did use the coffee maker and some dishes and everything was great. The washer is great but don't expect the dryer to be very efficient. You may want to dry your clothes for a bit then hang them on the drying rack.

Being from the USA, I wasn't sure what the 8 and 5 meant in the address. The 8 is the street number and the 5 is the floor of the building. That is generally how the addresses work in Spain and Portugal.
