1 Maio -Stylish Studio in Alcântara- LX Factory

The property is very close to the conference center (which is the main reason why I chose it). The studio was very cozy for a one-person stay. Staff was very responsive when you contact them.

The stairs at the entry were quite steep and if you are traveling with a big suitcase by yourself it can be quite difficult to climb up. The heating was not great in the apartment - for some reason the air conditioning wasn’t really working well. The shower head was a bit weak.

The location was very nice behind the LX Factory. Easy check in (also late at night) The attic appartment is very cosy. And nicely decorated. Everything you need is there. It was clean.

If you rent out an Appartment for 125 euro a night I would also expect new, good mattresses. The main bed has an old mattress which does not offer modern comfort, and the kids bed is just a layer of foam. Too much synthetic airfreshner (made us sneeze) The room is right under the bridge so you hear the trains at night and the buzzing of the cars under the bridge. We liked the live music coming from the many restaurants at the back of the house.

There are 2 flights of steep steps up to the apartment so wouldn’t suit people with mobility issues very small so a great base but I wouldn’t want to spend a lot of time hanging out there
