The George Flat

The check in was easy, the owner contacted me before and after and gave good instructions. The apartment is modern. The place was clean.

The bathroom is uncomfortable. The price of the place is not cheap to feel ok with the size of the toilet. The toilet doesn’t look in good shape but it is a matter of buying a new lid. We did not find body soap and the trash can in the toilet was too small.

Super and centrally located, but not in the crowd, quiet environment. The two bedrooms on the two levels of the apartment give both space and privavy. In fact, it‘s two apartments connected, both with own shower and wc! The terrace is super cool, too!

Nothing, but tall people could find the shower and wc too small.

Location is not quite in the center but everything is easy reachable by Bolt/Uber (which is super affordable in Portugal). The apartment is cozy and clean, the rooms and beds comfortable. Nice kitchen with good appliances. Easy contact with the host.

Some stuff the apartment lacks - wine glasses and stair railings. :D One of the bathrooms ar quite tiny, taller people may have a problem.

The bedroom are like two separate apartaments which makes it very good for privacy

The hostess is excellent. I missed my flight home and was able to book an extra night without any problems. The apartment is also very nice and clean. The surrounding area is very interesting and there are many nice little restaurants in the area.

It was clean, and well equipped. Nice neighborhood

The access to the second room is very difficult for a 66 y/o adult. Almost impossible 😔

The flat is clean and comfortable and easy to find. The key instructions were clear. Good towels and bed linen. Easy access to all parts of the old town and restaurants.

Good for a short stay only.
