Owl Apartments

It was convenient to the town.

The property had not been cleaned after the previous stay, the floors and work tops had food on them, the bed had not been changed and the toilet/shower wasn’t cleaned. The boiler kept cutting out so we didn’t have hot water and the heating kept going off.

Good value for money, okay location.

Host was not nice, couldn’t get in for 15 minutes as host just hang up the phone and didn’t call back right away. Also was rude about some rule that we had to call 1h before arriving even though they have not mentioned it anywhere plus I did mention the arrival time beforehand and they approved it…;cold apartment once we arrived and very cold floor the whole time; construction around the whole building which was not mentioned; no curtains for a window right next to a different house.

A lot of space

It was freezing inside the apartment, no heating and the cold was entering the room like there were gaps between the walls. Also, when I woke up in the morning there was no hot water and no towels... Absurd. The room was pretty dirty, sink wasn't clean, bed sheets smelled strange.

Owner very friendly, let us leave our stuff at the property before check in time, you we happy at least for this. location cool.

Smell of the property is horrible.. Air and bedroom especially was dump big time, smell of sheets… All house was under construction, so noise from 8 o’clock..

Nice apartment

Very strict rules for everything, and bed linen has to be removed ourselfes etc, as there is no cleaning service and so on.

Location. Generally the apartment is big enough for a couple with a baby.

Damp. We could smell heavy, moist air in the apartment, specialty in a bathroom. Sheets/linen were new but pillows were smelly. We could smell the moist and sweat (?) on it. There was no kitchen cloth. The washcloth was old. We were not informed there is renovation work in the building (a new floor is built).

Lots of room, modern and private, the bed was really comfy

It was little bit chilly inside and toilet paper was missing so I had to go get some from nearby store. There was also an outside renovation being done on the building which made noise but that's not permanent.

Location

1. The owner of the apartment communicated very arrogantly and mockingly that we did not find the apartment and the keys. 2. There is a basement inside the apartment, which is visible through a glass door. It looks creepy. 3. Two small kitchen towels are placed in the bathroom. They were already wet from one person's bath, a fact that was not enough for the whole stay. Because they were too small and too thin. 4. The bathroom is very small. There is no carpet - after the shower the floor is full of water. There was only one and a half rolls of toilet paper. I had to use it instead of towels to wipe my face, so it wasn't enough. But if a woman had "female problems", it would not be enough at all. 5. There is a burnt and untidy part of the wall near the gas stove in the kitchen. The glasses were dirty. 6. The bed mattress is very poor, the springs are broken, it rests on the back. After the night, everyone's back hurt. 7. The ceiling of the bathroom is cut and the ventilation is taped. I saw 2 long hairs stuck to the wall in the shower. The response of the owner of the apartment was: "Why didn't you write, we would have brought paper. And how could you run out of it? The towels are of normal size, everything is written in the information. Is it not suitable for you to live with a burnt wall and a cut ceiling?" Maybe then it is normal to live with spiders in the corner and dust? The information about towels is simply "towels". I won't even argue about the paper, apparently the owner is afraid that her toilet paper will be stolen, so she gives each person an incomplete roll. But if you start getting diarrhea... Well, maybe in that case, she would bring more. :))) I'd rather not say anything about the city tax. Some kind of begging.
