The Old Salt

The object is well organized with very nice rooms and enough space for a family. Everything you need of The kitchen and whole apartment is well equipped with house gadgets. Anything you need for cooking is available, bathroom is clean and functional. Maria is a welcoming, responsible and perfectly organized hostess always answering any of your questions about getting trough the town, and meets your demands on accommodation.

The pizza boys from the neighborhood are sometimes loud after 11 P.M. but they are cheerful.

The apartment was wonderful, with all the facilities. The position was very close to the beach and to the old town. Our host, Maria, was very helpful, she gave us all the details about Kavala, all the places to visit, the location of the supermarkets, public transportation, everything we need to know. In addition, we had cookies and drinks. Thank you very much, Maria!

The appartment was very specious. We found everything we needed and the terrace was a lovely addition. The communication was super fast and we managed to arrange our challenging check-in time. Very comfortable beds.

Keep in mind that toilet and bathroom are together, thus might feel too little for 5 adults. The hot water was running out quite fast if everyone needed a shower right away, but it heated up fast enough.

The hostess Ms Maria is very professional. She designed the house perfectly. There was every tool we needed at home. It was very clean, pleasant and sweet. We thank her for every delicacy. It was amazing for me and my family. If we visit Kavala again, we definitely think to stay here.

Amazing place. Very cosy and we loved the location because it was also very quiet. Maria, who handled our stay, was very nice and helped us with loads of suggestions on beaches, restaurants and more. She answered to questions almost immediately and made sure we had a good stay. 11/10 for the apartment and for Maria as a host. We suggest going to Paparouni at Palio Beach. About 15mins with taxi and will cost you around 12-15€ (one way). Go in the early morning as it is usually full. The staff is quite nice however and will take out extra umbrellas in case you come later (like we did - around 10-10:30am)

The apartment itself is GREAT!!! There is nothing bad we can say about the stay or the hosts…. It is close to Rapsani Beach, but it is very small and too close to the road. Definitely do not recommend. Get the bus or a taxi to Palio, it is much better.
