FLH Lapa Design Apartment with Terrace

Cet appartement est exceptionnel en raison de son emplacement, de son équipement et de la quietude du quartier. Suffisamment éloigné de l'hypercentre et de son agitation mais pas trop loin pour s'y rendre à pied sans difficulté. Les supermarchés Pingo Doce et Auchan permettent de se fournir facilement en alimentation. Je souligne la réactivité de Feels Like Home qui a remplacé une ampoule dans la journée après ma demande faite le matin même.

les voyageurs apprécieraient probablement la mise à disposition d'un rouleau de sacs poubelle ce qui éviterait de devoir en acheter.

Overall, the apartment was decent and the stay was generally fine. However, I was disappointed with the lack of basic essentials that are usually expected in a short-term rental. There were no hand tissues, coffee filters, sugar, salt, or cooking oil just the bare minimum. Thankfully, there was toilet paper, but even that felt like the only thoughtful inclusion. For a 4-night stay, we were provided with only one dishwasher tablet and a tiny 30ml bottle of dishwashing liquid, which was clearly not enough. It felt like the very first thing we had to do after arriving- tired from the road - was rush to the nearest store to buy all the basics ourselves. Considering that the apartment has a symbolic name like "Feels like Home", I expected a much warmer welcome and more attention to detail. Unfortunately, the level of comfort and hospitality did not live up to that promise. In fact, it gave the impression that guests are not really expected or particularly welcome which left me quite disappointed.

Located on a nice quiet road in Lapa, although steep. Clean and nicely furnished. Very nice bathroom.

It would have been more practical to have a doorlock with a code instead of a key. The airconditioning kept turning on & off automatically. This disrupted my sleep some nights.

The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped. It was easy to communicate with the host and they were very helpful.

The apartment was on a steep hill and was located away from the centre. Not many local restaurants however we found a gem of a restaurant a short walk away called 'Clube De Jornalistas'. There was also a local mini Auchan supermarket which was handy for provisions.

There was a washing machine/dryer with detergent pods and a drying rack, which was exactly what we needed as we travelled with carry ons. The apartment was spacious and bright. Had a hair dryer and the cleaning kit with the dishes and kettle was useful. The bed was comfy and had extra pillows in the cabinet which was good.

Did not provide enough shampoo and body shower for two people for 4 nights. Had to ration. The terrace needs cleaning as there is bird droppings all over the chairs and table and therefore we were not able to utilize the terrace space. The couch has a bad odor when you sit on it and would need a deep cleaning. The location was a tad of a further walk back from the centre but it was doable.
