Location was ok

The property was very dirty and very poorly maintained. The timber on the bottom of the bathroom door and the door frame was rotten. This prevented the door from closing. The toilet seat was not properly secured to the toilet and slipped off the toilet all the time. The bathroom was mouldy and damp as well a missing timber in places due to rot. The bathroom is so small that the entire room is wet when you have a shower. My wife wiped a very small part of the bathroom floor with paper on arrival to find the paper immediately black with dirt. There was not a blind on the bedroom window, no door to the bedroom and the remaining window in the loungeroom has a blind that does not cover the width of the window. It leaves about a foot either side uncovered. The room smelly damp and musty. There was an air purifier set to run for only 2 hours per day with instructions not to change the settings. There were holes in the wall where the bedroom reading lamps once were. The presence of lamps would have been nice. The room is subject to a lot of traffic and street noise. The bed was very uncomfortable. There were no pillows. Instead there were 2 small cushions each inside of a pillow case. These were less than half a pillow in size and total unsuitable as pillows. There was no top sheet only a don't cover. We left desperately needing to have a good wash to feel clean again after staying here.

WARNING, WATCH OUT FOR THIS TENANT! The pictures are false, and all of the information to. I have never experienced something like this in my life. There has obviously not been any persons living in this apartament for a while. There was black mold growing in the MICROWAVE(…?!?!) and in every corner of the apartament. I got so sick by the bacterias that I had to urgent fly home for care in the hospital. I am after more than one month now still not well. Booking was not helpful at all, the tenant did not want to pay back anything but at the end he agreed to cancel the rest of the stay. Meaning I would move out the same day and only get back the money for the weeks I canceled. I had no help with finding a new living to the same price in the same location and was sitting by the streets with all of my belongings looking for a new living or a flight ticket home. NOTE that they dont compensate you in the most minor way, even in the most extreme situations. In the end I only found a living for a week but still had to cancel my trip(still had to pay for the booking) because of how sick I was getting. This living should not be posted here anymore, but it still is. So be aware with any booking on this website. Booking.com is not to be trusted and clearly has no regulation or any standards for the tenants or livings being posted.
