Clean. Next to the beach.

In an estate. Difficult to get in, forms needed to get in. No views to the beach.

The area felt safe. Didn't see any baboons or monkeys in the estate.

- The aircon didn't work and we were put in a room with zero ventilation even with windows and door open. The aircon wasn't fixed in the time we stayed there. - The bedroom is fully visible to anyone walking outside, which wouldn't be so bad if we could keep the curtains closed but again, no aircon, no ventilation. - The room is attached to the house with only a door separating the two, meaning you can hear the dogs chewing their squeaky toys every morning. - Twice when showering our warm water went cold for a few minutes and then back to warm. - Came back from a hike one day to find three strangers in our room "looking for damp spots". We weren't notified. - There was no access to the pool, and the access to the view is right in front of a different room where other people are staying so it feels as though you are intruding. - Bad internet connection, cannot watch a youtube video on more than 480p - Some coffee cups looked dirty, and the towels had little curly black hairs on them - You have to pay extra for housekeeping. Not sure if this is the norm for self catering, but a place we stayed at in Plettenberg cost less and they cleaned every day.

The place is nice, clean, safe and spacious

The fact that not everyone has access to the pool but you’re all guests! Not fair at all and no one bothered to communicate that.

The beautiful estate it's situated in and the estate restaurant.

The bed was as hard as rock and very uncomfortable I ended up sleeping with my kids on the sleeper couch which wasn'tmuch better, even though we booked for 4 people they didn't supply towels or have anything ready for my kids and we had to ask the house keeper. There was also a problem with the tv that took forever to get sorted. The carpet in the bedroom is full of stains. Unfortunately you also not allowed to go to the front of property to experience the beautiful views you see in the photos. Definitely not worth the money at all.

I didn’t like the fact that there was no one to welcome us and show us around or just the courtesy of checking up on us to see if everything is going well.and when we needed assistance with the room key we called the number on booking.com to speak to someone to help us..they took forever to pick up,they only picked up after 3rd attempt and this made us feel desperate, i really did not like that.And another thing our tv was not connecting to dstv we tried connecting it to our dstv subscription it wouldn’t let us because most buttons on the remote were not functional .YouTube was set in an Arabic language so most of the time we were not sure of how to operate it and because reaching for help is almost impossible 🙄.And the menu in the room is soo outdated we tried to order food from the restaurant and half of the things we wanted that were shown on the menu were not offered by the restaurant..Lets just say I wouldn’t book there again

That general maintenance and cleaning half done Door hinges loose, blinds dirty, things in dustbin and coffee mechine that was not thrown out before we got there.
