Washed the bath towel the Third night.

Location: this is not directly in the city center or central madness but the central nightlife and shopping was within 10-15 minutes walking distance. Cathedral and Castle were a 20 minute bus/trolley ride. 3 minute walk to a full market. Amenities: amazing place with obvious pride of ownership. Full kitchen with simple extras such as tea, sugar, salt, coffee. Washer with ample clothes line areas with good air flow to dry clothes. Two updated bathrooms with 2 showers. Comfortable beds with nice pillows. AC in apartment but did not need because great weather and nice airflow with windows ajar. Comfortable couch. Nice touch with dining room table. Large flat screen TV. The balcony overlooking the city was an excellent place to relax and read. Lift/elevator is a huge plus given the room is on the 5th floor. Garage for car was nice given that the parking situation in Lisbon is difficult.

Some type of odor was coming feom the toilets and shower drainage. Resolved if you keep the window ajar. The noise level can be quite loud if the trash truck, ambulance or other sirens are nearby but they’re short lived.

Great apartment. Modern and well outfitted. Patio with great view of the city. Few minutes walk to restaurants and within walking distance of central district. Owner met us and helped us park and recommended nearby restaurants etc

Location is good and we enjoyed the view from the apartment balcony. Carlos, the host, is very friendly and very attentive. He responded to question very quickly and gave us recommendations for attractions and restaurants. He gave us wine and cheese when we arrived and gave a tour of the apartment. We felt very welcome. We have everything in the apartment for a short stay and the washer is a big plus.

The only issue was the bathroom. We were asked to not dump toilet paper as it will clogged the toilet and this is inconvenient and unusual for us . The bathroom floor get wet easily after shower as the doors do not close tightly. Not enough hot water if you are the 4th person to shower sometimes even the 3rd person got cold water in the middle of shower.

Carlos the host was helpful and friendly and met us to go through the apartment. He was very communicative in making arrangements to meet and offered any assistance if needed during stay. Apartment was as expected from the photos and very clean. Kitchen well stocked. Welcome gift of cheese and wine was a nice touch. Comfortable beds. Large screen TV in main room. Apartment in a residential non touristy area only a few minutes walk to metro/buses and 15-20 min walk into centre of old city. Lovely elevated views from all the large windows (which had electric shutters for privacy).
