River Retreat Apartment Exeter - River Views & Parking

Bed was uncomfortable. Shower room very tight. No where to place toiletries. Kitchenette small & cluttered and therefore lacked adequate space for guests’ to put/ prepare food items. Just adequate for short stay.

A lovely, quiet, well-appointed apartment in a wonderful riverside location, only 15 minutes from Exeter city centre and 10 minutes from Topsham. The owner was welcoming and helpful but unobtrusive. The apartment had everything we needed for a short stay and more. There is a pub up the road, several restaurants close to hand and a big Aldi supermarket round the corner. What's not to like?

Parking is either on the street or up a narrow, steep, curving drive. We used both options and had no real problems - except backing up that driveway!

Location and facilities were excellent Very goog and accomodating host.

Great location, friendly helpful hosts and very clean and comfortable apartment. A lot of effort has gone into making this a lovely place to stay.

We liked almost everything and would stay again. The bathroom is very small and hot plates in the kitchen would have been great, but very minor irritations overall.

Great location. Easy to find with satnav. Everything clean and modern.

On street parking was always available but trundling suitcases down the street and up the drive could have been better. When I booked I missed that the parking was on street - because of the prominent use of the word parking in the property name. The front door was very difficult to open but the host was very apologetic about this and I'm sure it will have been fixed by now.
