MyPlaceLisbon - Bairro Alto Apartment

Perfect location in city centre.

Location is fab for people that want to explore Chiado and Lisbon central. Area is extremely hilly so you have to be fit to stay here. We walked everywhere. Its also a massive party area so ideal for young people that want to party! Apartment is nice and spacious and had everything we needed as we cooked at night. Fans in room and sitting room helped alot as it is warm inside. Extremely friendly host Antonio that explained everything and gave us tips when we checked in. Bakery Marie Blanchere is spectacular for pastries and sandwhiches etc and sooooo well priced! Pink street is a must! Fab vibe, food, music etc.

The apartment could do with a proper deep cleaning. White couches by legs were dirty and walls in bedroom need a proper clean. Some items need to be replaced. One curtain in sitting room is torn and headboard in bedroom needs to be recovered or replaced. There is only 1 teaspoon! Weird. Lol. You get a feeling that the turn around is massive and just a basic clean is done before the next batch checks in. PS the Emergency kit in bathroom only has 4 tampons. So wont get anywhere if u need it. Lol.

Good location, surround by many restaurants and bars, the host was very nice and helpful, great for money and if you like night life, you can consider this Appartment

Definitely misleading for ‘air conditioning’, should states that is portable air conditioner which can’t even cool down the bedroom because it need to open the window to use it! It’s extremely hot if not open the windows but party noises just down the street next to it till 3am. I understand the noise of choose to stay in the city centre but the misleading which I can’t accept, I stayed for 2 nights with sweating all over, if you don’t mind the heat, it’s great for value anyway

The check in and out was so easy. They provided local recommendations for our stay which was lovely. The price to rent was modest and fair for what we received in return

The bed was very uncomfortable and outdated. The shower was not cleaned and the sink leaked when you used it. The apartment was great, but on a very busy street that was soo loud without closing the windows. If you closed the window it was incredibly hot and uncomfortable (we went in the summer). Air conditioner unit was provided, but you have to open a window to use.

located in the heart of bairro alto the location couldn’t be better. it was noisy being in a bars area but in the room the window were double and you could still sleep super well, with near no noise. apartment was huge and Antonio was an amazing host giving us very good tips of restaurants around

it is obviously not the property fault but the inclination of the streets in Lisbon made it quite a hard task to bring our big suitcases up to property. if you have big luggage with you I would advise take an Uber after our experience

Amazing location. Luisa was lovely to deal with on check in. Apartment has everything you need. Quiet a large Apartment for the price. Loved this place

The apartment is a little dated but has everything you need. Will definitely be back
