Pilar - Alfama River View

Location perfect. Elevator and automatic door available. The view from the Kitchen was amazing!

Beds are really small, especially the two single ones. The appartment feels dated and the setup is not well conceived for tourists. For the price paid, I think they should do some renovation.

Perfect location, well equipped apartment with a stunning view of Pantheon and the river. Close to train from airport and Pram 28. Helpful host.

Publicity not fully accurate. Says free parking but found out after booking that Friday and Saturday cannot park near appartement. Need to go to a paying parking a bit further out. Rest of the week as advertised.

Very nice but could have a sofa

Smooth, easy and clear instructions for check in, hassle free. The host was great with communication. Parking is free opposite the accomodation, except on Tuesday and Saturday (for the market). It was a short distance to walk around the main area of Lisbon.

The location was great and the view was gorgeous. The Alfama neighbourhood is beautiful. I had breakfast at a cute nearby cafe. I didn't have any issues but the hosts seemed responsive so I assume that they probably would have helped had there been any issues. There were wooden panels that could close over each window, which provided insulation and kept the bedroom dark (I usually sleep with blackout curtains and the panels were sufficient for this). The bedroom is away from the street so it was quiet at night. There were sufficient bath towels, blankets, toilet paper for the length of my stay, shampoo and body wash provided, washing machine, dish washer (and a sponge and dish soap if you prefer washing by hand), a hair dryer. The apartment was clean and spacious. There was an outdoor market on Saturday right outside my front door, which I thought was cool. There are mini markets around the neighbourhood, should I need anything else that's basic. Alfama is a hilly area no matter where you stay in this neighbourhood, so anyone with disabilities regarding mobility should keep that in mind. That said, there is also an elevator in the building. Checking in was easy, I simply used the codes provided and all of that worked. The bed was comfortable. It's on the firmer side slightly but felt comfortable for me.
