Traditional Apartment with a Terrace, AC and Fast Internet

Nice apartment with kitchen, washer, and sitting area. Very clean.

The price was too high for this apartment. Stayed 2 nights. Had 2 coffee pods, little skimpy for 2 people. Don't quite understand why there is no place to put shampoo/conditioner/soap in shower. You place it on the floor? This would probably take a few bucks to put in a plastic holder, seems elementary to me. But not my call.

Very quiet area but still has easy access to city, good public transport nearby. Short walk to local shops, bars and restaurants. We felt comfortable and secure, everything we needed was provided and good quality, the outside terrace was great for breakfast. Communication was excellent.

We would have found somewhere to store clothes useful.

Nuno was a super host. He is very friendly and extremely helpful. I asked him to book us a taxi for when we depart and he did it straight away. Very efficient. He also dropped by to say hello. Apartment was clean and tidy. Well air conditioned which was essential when traveling to Lisbon in summer. Location was great, had tram and buses within 10 mins walk. Walking distance to Alfama.

The apartment building is located at the bottom of a steep hill. We have a 5 months old at that time and with a pram, the cobblestone road and hill are not super baby friendly. Will recommend this place to singles and couples.

Very comfortable, well furnished, beautiful back patio. And very strong wifi. Nuno was extremely kind and welcoming.

Location was great! Walking distance from the Tram, grocery store, ATM and coffee shops. We enjoyed having a washing machine with a terrace to hang the clothes to dry. The door code is a nice feature to handle when on vacation. Apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. What made the experience exceptional were the hosts. Nuno and Isabel were very helpful, friendly and always reachable through WhatsApp. They would also check-in to make sure everything was good.

I thought the bed mattress was on the slimmer side, but my spouse thought it was acceptable. The apartment is located right next to the front door of the building, so we could hear some late ins and outs, one night out of our three day stay. Also, the apartment is downhill, so watch out as the sidewalks can get slippery!

Hosts were incredible. Responsive and helpful and everything you would want. Had a pipe burst (no one's fault! ) and he spent the whole day (which was a holiday in Lisbon) fixing it and was great in keeping us informed too. Be aware, the apartment is at the top of the city so you'll be walking up hill a lot. Area is a bit more authentic and less touristy so we loved that and it made the daily climbs worth it! Building is well over 100 years old so has tons of charm but the unit, while very small is nicely updated with modern conveniences including a washing machine was a perfect mix.

Not in anyone's control but the apartment next door is under long term construction which starts around 8am most days. It's so loud you can't have a conversation so just be ready to be up and out early, no sleeping in on a weekday. Plan accordingly and you'll be fine.
