Perfect location, perfect host. It was our first time to Hakuba, but Daniel made everything easy to manage. Enjoyed the pub downstairs, especially the beer variety, chicken parmagianas and open fireplace

exceptionally well-equipped, comfortable, and you can’t beat the location … steps from the lift

Some family members found the beds a bit stiff. Also, missed having an onsen on site but theres a public one very close by, so worth the trade-off for proximity to the ski hill.

"A fabulous family week, lots of snow and sun, totally recommended."

The onslope location, close to ski hire and lifts, comfortable spacious accomodation (everything was as good as it looked online), good drying and ski room facilities, small quiet fun bar downstairs with happy hour and excellent apres menu. Kids can play out front in the afternoon sun in full view. A well run property, with very hospitable hosts, close to the bus stop for easy transfer to Happo One, Tsugaike etc.

Iwatake generally has limited day and night dining options but is well connected by bus and taxi.

"Overall loved our stay and would come"

Very comfortable apartments with everything you need and with the most amazing hosts. We got free pick up and drop off at the station, trips to the supermarket, help with booking restaurants and taxis, and just overall anything we asked for they were very helpful and accommodating! The location is beautiful and very conveniently located next to the ski lift, and even next to a small onsen.

The only negatives were that the ski in and out option was not available when we were there as it was early in the season, and that the place is quite far from the main village with most restaurants. But there is a great pub just below, and the free shuttle stop is only 5 mins away.

"cozy apartments in a fantastic location"

Excellent location right next to Iwatake mountain. 2 min walk to the gondola, perfect for anyone looking to beat the crowds to get to the slopes. Daniel is a wonderful host who was super helpful, appreciate the pick up and send off to the bus station. great cozy bar onsite with a warm fireplace. the perfect place to unwind with a pint after a long day on the slopes.
