Ski-in, Ski-out Iwatake Apartments

Daniel was a great host, and the staff are fantastic. The location is amazing. We loved being able to walk out the front door to the ski chair lift and only a short walk to the onsen. It is a perfect place to stay for a family snow holiday.

Cosy, warm apartment near the Iwatake lift. Everything was clean and the setup was fine for us to be able to self cater. Daniel was really friendly and helpful. It’s quiet and good for a family.

A bit more storage room(cupboards or shelves or hanging space) would be good. Also, not really a negative but we didn’t realized when we booked that there was no ski school for the kids at Iwatake so we had to drive them over to Happo each day.

Daniel is great host, always helpful & informative. Lovely comfortable apartments with easy access to the gondola.

Loved the location, overlooking the ski run. The owner was great, friendly, and picked us up and dropped us off. The apartment was fantastic, very clean and warm.

No restaurants close by and the bar/restaurant in the building wasn't open during our stay.

Beautiful well equipped, spacious accommodation.

Nothing we didn’t like about the property. Only issue for us was the lack of bars and restaurants in Iwatake which required taxi trips to Happo. But if you’re self catering that’s not a problem. The other issue was that while we were there the ski in ski out was not in play probably due to snow conditions.

Fantastic location. Great rooms and lots of space.
