Senna Apartment

The apartment has everything you need for a family and kitchen for self catering. Its tastefully furnished and TV has Netflix and Youtube. Very quiet location, but not far to a large Lidl supermarket. There are a couple of bars a few hundred meters away, but its not set in what I call a tourist area, but nevertheless a great base. Its around 5 Euros in an Uber to the marina.

No breakfast, but we were not expecting that. Location was convenient to metro, but the neighborhood did not feel particularly safe. Kitchen was good. Bathroom did not have adequate ventilation which made the damp feeling worse.

The apartment felt damp and had an odor that was overlaid with heavy perfumed scent from plugins. Once we disconnected all the perfumed plugins and opened some windows it was better.

I wish there were a few more blankets for the beds

Spacious apartment.

- The dining table, kitchen and bathroom were not clean when we arrived. I mentioned it and a lady came and cleaned on the same day. We got a wine bottle and marmalade as gifts. However, when the third of the group arrived she found the bed linens in her room to smell bad and there was a box with teeth braces left by the previous occupants, which makes us wonder if this room had been cleaned at all. - Overall the apartment gives a rather "old" vibe, particularly the kitchen, and the rooms are very basic, especially the ones with the single beds. - The neighborhood is not for tourists, we chose it to be close to the conference we were attending but wouldn't have stayed there if it was a leisure trip. - Communication was a bit weird, through a translation app, as the owner speaks only Portuguese. A rather disappointing experience.
