Castle Terrace Exclusive Apartment - Home By The Castle Apartment

We loved the location and enjoyed the private outside space. The kitchen amenities were very good even though we didn’t cook a meal. Also close to Metro which was helpful.

The only negative was noise from the upstairs unit, lots of walking back and forth with shoes, sounded like they were moving tables, etc. and this was after 10pm. The listing indicated it was soundproof so we were a bit surprised by the noise.

Private entrance and terrace area was good. The bed was comfortable and the shower was very good. We liked the location as we enjoy walking and don’t mind the steep hills. Lots of restaurants and music nearby.

The property is old and noise proofing was mentioned but we were woken every morning between 4 and 5am by people upstairs clanging the outside gate. They were walking back and forward in the apartment upstairs very loudly for a considerable time.

Very nicely styled and furnished with very good kitchen appliances, modern bathroom and large, comfortable bed. Good quality bed linen and towels.

As an older couple, the location on a very steep hillside and uneven pavements weren't ideal particularly when dealing with suitcases. The trams up the hill were also very crowded. The outside space was nice but not as private as described because it's right at the entrance to the building so other guests are coming and going past the terrace. The apartment smelt a little damp and it was a bit stuffy but the air conditioning worked well to help with that.

Great location. Lovely and clean. Everything we needed. Very comfortable.

Some noise from floor above but understandable.

The location was excellent. Close to great restaurants, public transit, and shopping. Nice private courtyard.
