"Amazing cottage"

As soon as you walked in the cottage felt so welcoming, clean and smelt amazing. The bed were comfortable and plenty of extra blankets incase it was cold. The space for the kids to run and enjoy outside was endless. We will definitely be coming back.

Communication was excellent. Owners very friendly and accomodating. Clear and helpful information was provided. Good location in terms of proximity to city centre.

Unfortunately cleanliness was lacking - toilet was not clean and had remains of #2 which is never unexpected! The glass doors sliding doors had finger marks all over - not wiped down from the previous guests. Cabinets and tv looked to have been wiped down with a dirty cloth. Bathroom sliding barn door needs maintenance - kept getting stuck and hard to close. Smoke alarm was hanging open with no batteries! Went to use the BBQ one night and it was deteriorated- leaning to one side - no drip tray which caused burning oil to drop straight onto the grass and set the gas cord alight! Lucky we were quick to react and put out the fire but it could have been disastrous. Lastly, there is no reprieve from the heat - it was over 35degree days while we stayed - and no fault of the owners, can’t help the weather but there was no shade to escape the sun apart from the living space with the aircon - which doesn’t reach the bedrooms.

Quiet, comfy cabin with a great outlook! Not too far out of town and quite easy to find.

Beds a little soft, could have been a little cleaner quite dusty and a little more toilet paper. Feel it needs an instruction sheet for lights etc, we didn't find the outside lights until our last morning
