Beautifully appointed apartment in a great location

Location was fantastic. Easy walk to Bairro Alto,/Chiado but quiet street. Apartment had all the basics in it. Staff were friendly and helpful at check in. Check out was easy. Though there were a few minor inconveniences, I would stay at the apartment again.

4pm check-in is a little later than other check ins. Check in is done in another part of the city which is a little inconvenient. We were charged €6 just to leave our luggage at the BmyGuest office before checking in as our flight arrived earlier. BmyGuest hadn't responded to any of my emails/messages on booking.com/WhatsApp messages in regards to the airline company changing my flight to an earlier flight. Though someone did finally make contact with me 48 hours before my arrival to finalise details. To be a great apartment, the apartment needs some minor repairs, an upgrade on the bed mattress and would benefit from instructions being left on how to log onto the Internet, use heater, dishwasher, oven etc. Being an apartment, it would benefit from having a few basics left for the guests on arrival, dishwashing liquid, bit more toilet paper, etc. There are supermarkets near by to do a shop for all the basics.

Big apartment, clean and has a good location

You need to collect the keys at another destination that is 35min away from the location. And the staff were mot responsive until two hours before the reservation.

You need to pick up the key on the other side of the city. 100€ will be blocked in your account for 7 days.

Location was great, close to bars, cafes and the miraduoro. Apartment had towels and basic necessities. Lots of room to put away clothes and the place is in a relatively quiet area of Bairro Alto.

Toilet seat was wobbly, almost fell off. No dishwasher soap or laundry liquid at all. No towel rack or hooks so we couldn't hang our towels at all. Bed only had bedsheet on, and only one with a duvet that we could add to the top but it was quite inconvenient.

The mattress of the double bed and sofa cama were very uncomfortable.

Rude and abrupt reception & host. The office where the keys need to be collected is a 15 min drive from the apartment. This is not mentioned on the site - very inconvenient when you have luggage.

The appartement feels/smells the humidity, the towels provided also stinks, no shower mat, the sofa is broken, one full roll of toilet paper for 3 days, no shampoo (bottle is empty), almost no soap (bottle almost empty), bed sheet was dirty (with a large stain), the tap of the bathroom is kind of broken (loose), the toilets seats are also loose (almost falling) and the worst of all is when you get back from a huge day and do not have hot water to take a shower. Moreover, it is not common and wasn’t clearly mentioned that the renter need to go get his keys at a place +45 min walking from the place where we are staying.

Luis was so wonderful to meet us at a very late hour to check in when our flight arrived. An easy 20€ taxi ride from the airport (our driver was a bit lost). Nice to have both a bedroom & sitting area. Close to a delicious bakery too.

A bit small for a family of 4. But it was so easy to access historic Lisbon that we didn't mind!
