My Lisbon Story

Great location, 5 minutes walking from Praca du comercio..everything is rustic and authentic, but has all the apliences you need! The bed was cozy, pillows too. There is a kettle and coffeee machine, which was highly appriciated.

The appartment is on a 4th floor, without elevator, but that was already staded in the description of the place! Lisabon is not a location for the people who are affraid of stairs and not big fans of walking!

The location is amazing. Very central and easily walkable to many attractions. The apartment was beautiful.

The fridge was not working but I spoke with management who were trying to get it replaced

Very central location, spacious apartment.

None of the facilities ever worked quite as you’d expect. The fridge didn’t work at all. The water stopped for 12 hours. The bathroom had a persistent smell from the day we arrived. The lights in the stairway didn’t work for 4 days. We had to ask the host to come let us in because the front door keypad stopped working. The sofa bed gradually unfolded itself I’ve 30 minutes as you were sitting in it. Everything was 70% there. Overall the value for money is there mainly due to space you getting and location, mishaps would be unacceptable for some while we are just a chilled travellers

Generally we liked our stay. The price is affordable and corresponds to quality. Location is very central. From the apartment you can reach any attractions, subway , shops, restaurants. The flat is spacious and well equipped for cooking, washing etc. The owner was very friendly and always helpful with everything. We appreciated shampoo, shower gel, coffee, and other products necessary for first days.

I wish the towels were more fresh. (They were not dirty, but overused). What was really unpleasant for us despite the general cleanliness is that in the kitchen every evening there were a lot of roaches. That is understandable for an old building but still it was not comfortable to eat in their company. So who is sensitive about them be aware.

Location, comfort, air conditioning

The owner was very responsive via chat. The apartment is fully furnished with dish washer, oven, and washing machine. It is near to all major tourist attractions with a short walk. It has a very lovely balcony. I enjoyed sitting there drinking my cold beer while watching tourists busy walking and trams passing by.

The stair case is very steep. It was such a strenuous workout for me to carry my luggage up and down. Be careful about your back and knees.

The location was excellent. The apartment was clean. Would recommend it to anyone.
