Small Design Studio - Rosa, Bairro Alto

Can't flush down the toilet paper. Didn't reply at our messages when we asked for extra toilet paper and fresh towels. Took 20 euros for "tourist tax" but didn't ask for our IDs, sounds like they just kept the money for themselves.

The location was great - close to the heart of the city and Rossio train station which has direct train line to Sintra. The apartment is small but has all the necessary things. We were worried about the sound isolation during the night but with windows and blinds closed, little can be heard from the street.

The toilet clogged up once for us - it is strictly forbidden to throw papers in the toilet which we followed, yet still, the pipes clogged up. The host was quick to react and fixed it for us fairly quickly.

The location is really good, with restaurants and bars nearby. The city center is also close. The apartment was relatively clean and the mattress is super comfy. Overall, the apartment design is cute, and it had almost everything we needed. I’d say it’s good value for money.

I think when people rent an apartment, they expect a few more utilities to be included. The apartment didn’t have a kettle, a spatula for cooking food. The walls were a bit dirty. Also, Thursdays-Sundays are super loud as there are bars on the street, so we heard people shouting at 3 am, which disrupted our sleep.

Powerful shower and beautiful building. Walking distance to all Lisbon tourist attractions. Self check in was easy.

There is no door on the bathroom and the toilet is positioned badly... really cramped and uncomfortable. I remember reading reviews about this place and thinking "oh that won't bother me" - well, it did. A lot. And it's pretty noisy at night.

Very good location close to everything,apartment is good for short stays.

Keep in mind that the location is in the party streets and next to a bar so there can be noise from the street in night. As well the bathroom has no door on it and is directly connected to the kitchen which wasn't very comfortable.
