Small Design Studio - Rosa, Bairro Alto

Cosy place in a genuinely good area, close to so many amenities.

Too small, bathroom and lighting of the place

The location was convenient. Easy access to metro, train station, city centre and local restaurants. Easy check-in even when we arrived late in the night.

It was VERY noisy in the night as it is located around clubs. The toilet didn't have a door and didn't have enough space to move around. The toilet got clogged although we disposed toilet papers as instructed. The pillows were uncomfortable to sleep on.

Very dirty. The dishes in the cupboard were dirty, the layer of dust under the bed was shocking, and overall the place hasn't been cleaned properly in ages. Not sure why there is even a cleaning fee.

The location was good,in the middle of a vibrant area of the city

The apartment was not cleaned when we entered. We had to remove the old sheets from the bed. Luckily we found clean sheets in the corridor so we could change the sheets and towels. The host did not respond for 2 days and only came to "clean" the apartment on our last day but again only changed the bed and did not clean or empty the garbage from the toilet (containing the toilet paper from the previous guests...). The host promised to give a discount but we never heard back again. All of that for a very overpriced price.....

The location was not what I was looking for, party street very loud at night, until 3:30-4:00 am. Very small !!

Very small apartment. Very surprised to find no door on the bathroom, and only a thin shower curtain covering the bathroom held up by a tension rod (which would often fall down). Terrible wifi, only worked 50% of the time when neighbouring apartments left. Very poor communication from the host (did not respond about wifi). However, good location and relatively clean. Not worth the value for money.
