The hosts of the property were very responsive and engaging. Days before our arrival we received information about how to get into the property and they replied quickly to any questions we had. The location of the property was close to central sightseeing spots and also easy to get Uber. There were restaurants and cafés (shout out to Paleio Café) along this street, and the famous "The Bifanas of Afonso" is just across the street! The apartment was well furnished and air conditioned with lots of storage space, the size of the apartment was spacious for 4 adults. We could get lots of natural light through the big windows, and the soundproofing was good as well. The kitchen was well equipped with cookware, utensils and tableware, and seasoning, so you would have no issues cooking and cleaning up afterwards. We also got complimentary coffee and got gifted some wine and port wine during our stay. The bathroom was big, with well working ventilation and toiletries (hand soap, body wash, schampoo and conditioner). We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay in this apartment. Pro tip, there are elevevators that take you between the lower and higher grounds, so you don't always have to struggle with the slopes of Lisbon. There is one just beside the property and also another one close to the property for going up to São Jorge castle.

Not strong dislikes and nothing that hindered our stay, just observations for improvement: - The elevator in the building was a bit finicky, quite sensitive to overload when there wasn't, so you needed to step out of it to "reset" the system. The elevator cage would also sink a bit while getting on which was a bit scary. The stairway was wide and well lit so it wasn't a problem to sometimes take the stairs. - The door to enter the building was at times not properly shut, which made it hard to push open after entering the door code. Not sure if it's because of a strong rebound or guests not shutting it properly. - We would also have liked there to be a safe instead of a security box, for peace of mind when leaving valuables behind. - The wifi was a bit on and off at times, and we noticed at the end of our stay that the info about it was different between what's on the paper in the apartment and what was shared by the host through messages.

Lovely place

Our stay in Lisbon was wonderful. The apartment was in a convenient location, within walking distance to all the main attractions and close to transit stops. We were warmly welcomed with a bottle of Port wine. The space was clean and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.

I think mattress in the main bedroom needs to be changed. Facing the mattress the right side collapsed.
