The Back Street Nest

Fantastic shower - one of the best ever. Free wine, fruit and chocolates. Helpful people. Authentic- the whole area is interesting (to visit). It's nice and quiet (as long as the neighbours are quiet as the walls are thin).There's also a fairly private outside balcony at the back.

The location was not as central or easy to get to as we expected - in fact, half the taxi's we took wouldn't even turn into the immediate area as the roads are so narrow. The rooms are tiny too - not even a place to put a yoga mat down. The bed creaked and was not as large as we're used to - and it's lucky we're thin enough to get around the bed as there is hardly any room each side of the bed. The toilet flush was poor. There's hardly any light in the 'living room' without opening the doors - so it's light or privacy. Perhaps we expected too much - it's not a bad place, quite sweet actually, but we felt it over-rated.

Delightful host, great location

We had a great stay at this cosy and clean apartment, located in a fun and historic neighbourhood with a real local feel. It’s an easy walk to the city centre and surrounded by great restaurants. Communication with the host was smooth and straightforward. The area felt safe throughout our stay. Check-in and check-out were hassle-free. Would definitely recommend!

Authentic location, amongst the locals

A bit far from main attractions, however in all of Lisbon they are very spread out

We loved the location - away from the very touristy area but very easy access to see them. We loved the timely help from Valéria.

We loved the property- the only improvement we could suggest is a bit better couch as the wooden frame is felt in the middle.

Great house with wonderful amenities (kitchen, laundry, Netflix, heating etc). We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Check-in was smooth with Valeria meeting us at the door. We even received a surprise Christmas gift which totally made our day.
