Blue by the River 4 - Unique Penthouse Duplex with a View

Spacious, well situated property. Lovely decorations and a great view of the sea

This penthouse apartment was perfect in every way for our family trip to Lisbon. It was very spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect and very walkable with many bars and restaurants nearby. There are a couple of very nice grocery stores nearby as well. There was construction outside the building but the windows and blinds blocked everything out. We would definitely stay at Blue by the River 4 again!

Keep in mind if you arrive before check in, there is no place to store your luggage. We arrived on an early flight from the US - 10:00 am. It will be up to you to find a locker storage facility which we weren't expecting to have to do. We used Bounce which was a few blocks walk from the penthouse on cobblestone streets. Luckily, we're all in decent physical shape so this wasn't a huge deal but it was an added expense and took up extra time we were not expecting. Maybe have your taxi or Bolt driver drop you off at a Bounce location. The walk from there to the penthouse was downhill and much easier. 😅

Cool location, good access to the city’s sights and such

To no fault of anyone in particular, we were locked out for about 7 hours due to the massive Iberian power outage - again, an exception circumstance no one could have foreseen

Spacious and clean.

Horrible neighborhood. Graffitti everywhere, gunshots at night, very loud at night. Woke us up several times, one night with screaming. Not convenient to anything and there was 1 window that had a distant view of the river. terrible and misleading.

Beautiful apartment with lots of space. Three full bathrooms was a great plus. Minimal street noise, even above a busy street corner. Upstairs living area is spacious and beautifully bright with many floor to ceiling windows that open to let in a fresh breeze. We would definitely stay there again on a repeat visit!

Responsive staff, welcoming bottle of wine and let us leave the case until later in the afternoon.

Unfortunately there was a leak in the main bathroom after exceptional rainfall

the kitchen and living room are large and have plenty of space
