Ajuda - Apartments

It was clean, the neighbourhood nice, you could easily take a taxi into town, the price was right. There is no AC (only a fan), but it kept relatively cool while it was still hot outside.

The bed wasn't very comfortable and you could hear a lot of noise from the upstairs neighbours. It's not super easy to find parking if you rent a car.

Cant open the windows and close the curtain at the same time, Ridiculous. Street level apartment did not feel safe with windows and curtains open. No local channels on TV

The apartment is cozy and clean, easy to find, easy check-in/checkout, good location in a quiet area with lots of little cafés and groceries around

The apartment is on the ground floor with windows looking just on the street in the same side of the building, so it's not possible to open them for some draft to get more fresh air in. I felt a lack of fresh air inside at nights (I'm used to sleeping with chilly air), while the air was so pleasantly cool outside. Putting a ventilator in front of a window helped getting fresh air a bit, and I'd gladly open windows for the whole night, but when you are a girl traveling alone, doing so in an apartment on the ground floor is not the best idea in terms of safety. And there's no air conditioner either, so beware of the hot summer nights. Also it would be great to add some hooks in the bathroom for the towels and cosmetic bags. Not a big deal to do, but the value would be incredible. Overall I've had a great time, thank you for a wonderful experience! 🥰

The apartment is clean, has all the basic necessities, good location close to a lot of activities. The check-in and check-out happened smoothly. Owner responded directly when we called him for a question.

It is rather small. We booked for 3 persons, so 1 bed and 1 sofa bed, but the bed was on the small size for 2 people. The sofa bed is rather hard and uncomfortable. When unfolded it goes right in front of the front door which makes it complicated to pass with luggages, so we had to make sure to only unfold the sofa bed right before sleeping. The room and the hall are also small so we didn’t have much space to open all our luggages. (As we had a long trip thought Portugal, we had 3 big & 3 small luggages). The apartment being small will not be a problem if you’re 2 persons with few bags, it’s rather cosy.

A modern, clean apartment in the western district of Lisbon, Ajuda, equipped with everything necessary for a short stay, including a kitchen. The key and entry code were handed over without any issues. There are supermarkets, cafes, and pubs in the vicinity. For breakfast or a delicious morning coffee, I recommend two neighboring cafes right across the street, Cafe Pequenino and Aromas. You can enjoy typical Portuguese cuisine, such as the excellent Bacalhau à Mestria fish, and excellent wine in the evening at the nearby restaurant "Mestrias". You can also indulge in other delicacies or take them with you from the buffet at "Churrasqueira do Marquês". In addition to the small shops in the area, there is a larger Pingo Doce supermarket within walking distance. A short walk from the apartment, approximately 15 minutes, takes you to the coast in the Belém neighborhood, where you can admire the UNESCO World Heritage site, Jerónimos Monastery (Mosteiro dos Jerónimos). Along the coast, you'll find attractions such as Belém Tower (Torre de Belém), the modern architecture of the Museum of Art, Architecture, and Technology (MAAT), and the Monument to the Discoveries (Miradouro do Padrão dos Descobrimentos). You can use local transportation to travel to the amazing city center of Lisbon. The bus and tram stop (Rua da Bica do Marquês) is approximately 100 meters from the apartment. Alternatively, you can use reliable and affordable taxi services like Bolt or Uber. I highly recommend using them, especially for your journey to and from the airport.

the apartment is modern and clean. we never met the property owner but he was quick to respond.

we had booked the apartment for 3 weeks. Unfortunately, the permanent neighbour upstairs kept us up every night from 2 am to 6 am so we had to move out after 1 week of no sleep. The owner tried to speak to him about being quiet but nothing changed. the owner was quick to give us the refund of the remaining 2 weeks. very unfortunate as the apartment itself was nice, besides a very uncomfortable bed (we needed up sleeping on the couch).

-nicely renovated -clean -nice neighborhood

-a bit far away from the center but Uber is cheap -the neighbors upstairs are a bit noisy

They made allowances for our late flight by allowing us to stay in the apartment a little longer, very clean, a great location ,very quiet, close to the river, had a great time.taxi driver's we're very helpful.

No microwave, but we really didn't miss it, everything was brand new.
