Classic & Super Central Apartment by LovelyStay

This gorgeous apartment has everything we needed. The location is superb, it is quiet. The tram runs nearby but the place is very soundproof. The staff and owner are very helpful and we loved how much exercise we got getting up to the apartment!

Nothing, but this it not the place for you if you have mobility issues.

Location is perfect

Nothing. Yes there are four flights of stairs but it's an old city so I expected it.

The apartment was clean and beautiful and in an excellent location. Having two bathrooms was a plus.

The upstairs neighbor was really loud late at night and very early in the morning. It sounded like they were going out of their way to stomp back and forth just over our bedroom. We were not able to sleep well because of this.

The apartment was beautiful. Having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were very practical being 2 couples traveling together.

As all the other reviews mentioned. Being on the 4th floor (about 80 stairs) is not for everybody. But again, if you are visiting Lisbon. you have to be in a good shape, because there's a lot of hills, so you get used to it! I would still recommend it and I would also go back! I would also recommend to change the coffee machine. It doesn't work very well at all, but again... it's a detail.

The air conditioning unit in the master bedroom wasn’t working for us, otherwise everything was great.

The location is insuperable; the apartment itself is gorgeous, spacious, full of light, well equipped and (relatively) well looked after. The beds are super comfortable and all the rooms are spacious and airy and the air con in both the bedrooms and the living room was great!

The door to the apartment! It’s so fiddly! We managed to close it and lock it and the end but it took a few attempts and lots of slamming and shaking until we figured it out (turns out slamming is not the best approach…). The building itself was under construction and going up and down the stairs (4 flights) didn’t feel very safe. There is no smoke detector or fire alarm in the apartment and building. The door in the shower needs to be lifted slightly in order to avoid scratching the floor and cracking the door itself. The washing machine broke before our stay- we reported this straight away hoping someone would come and have a look at it but no one came and we were unable to use it. No pillows on beds. It was our mistake not to ask the property agent about this when she showed us around the flat.
