FLH Baixa Spacious Apartment

Good things about this apartment is location, size and water pressure in the shower.

This place has nothing to do with "Feels like Home". The communications was poor and the flat is lacking maintenance. Everything is outfitted on the cheap and in disrepair. When we walked into the building we were welcomed by overflowing trash bins that reeked and trash on the the steps all the way up. If you end up in the back room the mattress is the cheapest thinnest IKEA mattress and there is no ventilation. The bedroom windows open to the airshaft that is shared with the neighbor building kitchen windows so it always smells or stinks of cooking food and if your neighbor across the way decides to start cooking and socializing after midnight, that is just part of the deal. The windows are about 1 meter apart. Oh, and the light switch fell off when we tried to use the light. A few things missing in the kitchen is tea spoons, a small pot, a large bowl...and remove the empty baby food jars provided as drinking glasses. They provide 0, not even salt and pepper or anything else to get you started on arrival. TV remote does not work, sizable hole in dry wall in the living room, peeling vinyl, AC water runs off onto the dining room floor and no hot water on the first day. My feet were black after walking barefoot in the flat for half an hour. I could go on and on. They did offer to send the cleaning people back, which we declined, and someone did come to replace the light switch and did something with the hot water, because on day 2 we had hot water. For the price there are many better places in Lisbon, even in that area.

Great central location, although a lot of noise from the street and neighbouring flats if the windows are left open to get air flow through. Very big spacious rooms and easy access with good fast responses from the letting agency.

The aircon units didn't function properly and we had problems syncing up the TV remote with the TV and HDMI options. Some electirc fittings and plug points were broken or not working so needed updating. The furnishings were rather basic although adequate. With a bit more comfort and higher end furniture and decor this would have been top notch! Just needed a make over and newer fixtures and fittings to give it a higher end feel.

The flat was everything but not clean!!! Stay away

The location was great and the apartment was as described. We were comfortable.

It was infested with little cockroaches!!! It was really disgusting to see these little cockroaches walking in the couch where you were sitting, or in the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, everywhere!!! We were afraid to get them in our luggage or bedsheets. Will never come back a this place again. They responded to our needs after fact and it didn’t change a thing as the insects were already there.

Nice and spacious, great for a group of friends or family. Love that you could use both showers at the same time and the air con was a life saviour.

Stair case had windows open all the time and smelt like rotten sewage all the time. I liked the mats entering the apartments from the stairs but they slipped constantly and were quite annoying

Breakfast not included but lots of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Amazing Indian restaurant up the road. Perfect location. And the place was good value for money and everything (apart from some lights) worked fine. Would be nice to have air conditioning in both bedrooms.

Not all the lights worked. We couldn't get the overhead light in the living on during our time there.
