Blue by the River 2 - elegant two-bedroom in Santos

The location and amenities were great!

The internet dropped every hour at 11 mins past the hour. It would go down for two mins and then come back. It was a problem as we both take zoom calls all day for our jobs.

Good location. Tidy and well-equipped. Great design.

The main bedroom faces the street - could be noisy and difficult to sleep if you are sensitive to sounds.

Perfect! Elevator to clean comfy, simple place. Very quiet, super beds and plenty of heat or air. Immediate access in neighborhood to restaurants of all types, groceries, shops. 2 blocks from Time Out market! 20 minute walk to waterfront. Would love to return!

Not enough kitchen utensils.

Location was perfect. We have chosen this apartment with little actual knowledge about the layout of Lisbon, however it turned out to be an excellent pick. Most areas of interest are accessible by foot, it is also close to Cais do Sodré, a traffic and metro hub, but the place was also close to the Tegus river and was still outside the areas where tourist density began to be a bit too high for us. The flat itself, and also the building and the staircase are completetly renovated and giving a characteristic Lisbon atmosphere. There is also a working elevator, that helped a lot when moving in with our luggage. We have read that drainage problems are common in Lisbon, a little puddle began to accumulate in the shower trays, but there was not a single instance of overflow or clogging. AC was available and working in the living area and both bedrooms. When booking I did not realise that the apartment actually had two fully equipped bathrooms, but travelling with a family of four this was most welcome. The hosts were accesible mostly via WhatsApp or phone, but also responded on the Booking.com website. They were kind and helpful. Our plane arrived a few hours earlier, and they were very flexible, they let us check in earlier than the specified check in date. I guess this is subject to availability they have no luggage room, however there are also several affordable baggage storage options in the vicinity. It was a lovely experience, thank you again for the hospitality!

The place had a vacuum cleaner, but we would have welcome a broom and a showel (if there was one, we could not locate it). The place was mainly perfect, not much to improve upon :)
