Había chinches en la cama y el sofá y tanto booking como el propietario se niegan a devolvernos el dinero de la reserva. Tuvimos que dejar nuestras sábanas porque nos las querían cobrar. Estaba asqueroso: todas las superficies llenas de polvo, un charco de aceite dentro del horno. La ventana del salón no cerraba y el dueño ya lo sabía. El colchón era más grande que el somier, así que quedaba cogando. Los muebles estaban destartalados. Para entrar en la cocina, había que entrar de lado. Y para entrar al baño, había que desalojar la cocina. El apartamento está en un segundo piso, con las escaleras más irregulares que hemos visto: no había la misma distancia entre las paredes ni la misma altura de un escalón a otro, así que subir la maleta fue una odisea. La dirección de Booking no coincide con la real: nos llevaron al número 32 de esa misma calle.

perfect location, there is a big supermarket plus lots of 24 hrs local stores, cheap fruit stores just 5 min walk. clean has kitchen, fridge,laundry everything

it is a noisy neighbourhood, lots of night life going on there is a bar right across the property, young people gather at the door and stay up till 2-3 am( but only some nights. )i actualy liked it because it gave me the vibe of spanish people life style and hearing people happy lifts me up but if you are fussy about noise at night then go elsewhere

Great location. Lavapies is an interesting and lively area. We were fortunate to be there for the La Maya de Madrid festivities - right outside our door! Great local cafes and bars. Aaron was helpful and very welcoming.

There was no natural light in the apartment, and for privacy the curtains had to remain closed. Unfortunately when the outside lights were triggered by other residents (sometimes in the early hours of the morning) the light flooded into the room, disturbing sleep.

Good location near center and close to metro station. Interesting, lively area with lots of ethnic restaurants and bars. Walkable distance to the central locations.

This apartment doesn't have real windows - they go out to the hallway and main entrance of an apartment building. For this reason it is also incredibily noisy, as residents walk by all the time, check their mailboxes etc. They also ask you to pay extra if you haven't brought your own sheets and pillowcases. And you will need to pay extra if arriving after 8pm.

Nice apartment in an historical building, amazing how they could live in so much crowded streets while the apartment is very quiet and relaxing and we liked we could walk to all historical places in a few minutes crossing beautiful streets. Madrid is very different. We liked it.
