Location of property was perfect location to the centre of Oxford. Lots of information and maps of things to do and see in Oxford. Comfortable bed. Quite area for a good night's sleep. Great lounge/dining area. All the utensils you may need in the kitchen. Complementary tea/coffee/slippers. Snacks/drinks available for additional charge. Great communication with the owner -very friendly and helpful.

Having to empty our own bins at the end of stay - never had to do this when I have stayed somewhere before.

Our host Luigi was very friendly and helpful, and showed us around the apartment on arrival. Very clean with modern furniture, wonderful kitchen and easy walk to city centre.

The property is very nice, it has premium appliances and linen, very clean and spacious and location is very convenient. Free parking is provided.

Lack of USB chargers Parking was about 1km walk away which was a very pretty walk and not an issue for us. Our problem was that we messaged the host to request to go to parking early but he just replied that we should drop luggage off first. We took this to mean that we were not allowed to access the parking until check in time. We went to check the parking area and found a car parked in space E which we had been told would be ours. The host later said he made a mistake and it was actually F we should park in. This all led to us driving around/sitting in the car for about 3 hours as there was no where to park in Oxford. We had no problem bringing our luggage from the parking area as there is no legal parking even for a few minutes at property. Parking is good and the walk to it is very pretty, just would be nice if the host let guests decide for themselves how the wish to manage their luggage. THE TWO BIG ISSUES WITH THIS PROPERTY ARE THE INTENSE OVER THE TOP RULES AND THE WEIRD REQUIREMENT FOR A LARGE CASH BOND. There are 4 typed pages of rules regarding this property which I think is excessive. We are not in the habit of abusing accommodation but we felt very unwelcome and uncomfortable in this property as we were afraid to use or touch anything in case we broke a rule. Shoes cannot be worn in the property and luggage is not to be dragged on floor. I don’t understand why anyone would install a delicate floor in a property to be rented out. The rules also state that if you lose the key you will lose your bond. I don’t see how it costs £200 to cut a new key. Our enjoyment of this very nice apartment was greatly reduced by the unfriendly and unwelcoming list of rules and the fear that the host may decide on a whim not to give our bond back or even deny we ever gave it to him as there was no receipt given or terms discussed. We spent most of our visit telling each other don’t do that and don’t touch that as it may not be allowed.

The parking space is rather far from the apartment. But we got used to that.

A big plus for us was that we could store our luggage after checkout to explore the city for longer before our late departure. The location is amazing, you can walk everywhere, especially from the transportation hubs. Oxford is a great city to explore with so many sights and so much history. And the unit is in a quiet courtyard backing onto a small stream - it is very quiet and peaceful.

Spotlessly clean flat, nicely decorated, in a great location only a few minutes walk from center, fully equipped. Very comfortable bed. Smells and feels like home.
