Comfortable except for the issues below. Very quiet, which was great. Comfy bed. Good size, roomy. Good modern kitchen. Location terrific - about 800m from old centre of Oxford. Extra bond money returned immediately.

Wi fi virtually unusable and even 'page/text only' downloads are extremely slow on phone, ipad and laptop. The Smart TV can only show pre set TV channels (No streaming services). It's not the lack of fibre, its the plan you buy. Rules told on entry, posted on wall and/or on switches: Eg. Dont wear shoes in the house (cheap slippers provided but too small to wear); dont roll suitcases; no noise; use a tablecloth; can not change the heating settings; turn lights off; open the windows in the morning; open bathroom door after a shower. Other issues: No salt, oil, condiments; no clothes washer tablet; heated towel rail not working; many mini bar items provided were past 'use by' or best before dates (1 month to 2 years past); unlined bedroom curtains means some light enters all night. Having a pre-set meeting time with the host on site, put significant pressure on us to be there at that specific time - hard to be so precise in Oxford central, and the bridge closure did not help! (Host waited which was good - but auto check in is easier and done everywhere else.) Apt hard to find. Bag drop off/host induction time, means the car is on double yellow lines area or in private/apt driveway opposite (cant nudge in to common area of apt - too small and blocks pedestrian access). The car park provided is 1.1 miles by road, 15+ minutes by foot through pathways (sure, I saw it on the map before but didn't realise it was that far). Some glassware and crockery hard to access (I'm 188cm/6ft2in) - it would be better placed in some of the empty drawers. And dont forget the 200GBP before you stay, paid as some sort of a bond (no terms or receipt provided made us feel nervous during the stay, but got it back without any problems). Host tried hard to please but we are seasoned travellers that treat every property with due care and respect.

I liked everything about the apartment: comfort, quiet, location. The kitchen is very well-equipped, although I only used the espresso machine.

La Casetta d’Aneu was so centrally located that it made it easy to walk everywhere. The apartment was bright and immaculately clean. Everything that we needed was provided. Thank you , Luigi.

La casetta d’Àneu, Oxford Castle was impeccably clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. Luigi is a genuinely warm and attentive host, a perfect blend of hospitality and privacy. The unit is located in the ideal place to enjoy all of Oxford's great attractions. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

Great location. Very well presented. Luigi and his daughter were perfect hosts. There was excellent communication throughout. I really highly recommend this property and Luigi as a host. Great value for money!

property was amazing and very clean, although the owner took a lot of pride in his place there was just too many rules that we felt we couldn’t relax. had to leave shoes outside the property, there were sign’s everywhere saying the obvious and reminding you to clean up constantly. had to pay an extra £30 for the sofa bed although we clicked 2 separate people online. parking is 15 minutes walk away.

Fantastic host and exceptional apartment. Very clean, beautifully presented. Extremely comfortable.
