Cosy Modern Oxford Apartment

Everything was perfect for our needs: the position (only 10 mins from the centre of Oxford by bus in a quiet neighbourhood but close to supermarkets, bars and restaurants) cleanliness, internal space and a very good price. The owner was very helpful and dealt with any questions we had immediately.

No real criticisms to make

Stayed here and drove to and from the F1, worked out perfectly. There’s also a bus outside which we took into the town

Parking was very tight but we were aware of that before arriving. One day our parking garage was blocked by another car, I messaged the owner and got a quick and helpful reply which was excellent

Quiet location but very close to some lovely cafes, bars and restaurants. Good parking available. Host was very helpful and allowed us to get in early

The bedrooms are quite small so might be difficult for 5 larger people.

Very helpful owner. Very quick responses. On the whole clean, tidy and good location for us. Very helpful letting us park early. Very comfy beds and a good shower.

No instructions for the oven and it did need cleaning!

The shower is spacious, holds its' temperature well and there's a good, strong water flow. The beds and the couch are comfy and the kitchen is well equipped with everything from you might need, even if you want to go ahead and cook a full meal. There was an extra mobile heating unit available. The WLAN was quick and stable and handled hours long video calls very well. The bus station is just around the corner, with a very regular service and if you get your ticket over the local bus app, it's pretty cheap too. There's lots of shops and restaurants just a 10 minute walk away. Also, the landlord was easily reachable on the day we arrived to answer questions, and when there were some minor issues, they were taken care of within the day, so excellent service! Also, it's a really quiet, a bit rural area, even though the city center is less than 15 mins away by car. There's a lovely little garden in the back and we saw ducks, squirrels and even a fox!

A small binder on site to explain where everything is and advice about the area would be helpful, since you don't always want to scroll to all the messages you got over booking to find the relevant info. Also, whoever did the dusting must have been a bit on the small side, since they didn't reach the lamp-shades on the ceiling. ^_~ The tap in the kitchen was dripping, the toilet seat was cracked and while all but one of the heaters worked and heated the apartment well, they were a bit damaged, with the side panel of the units coming apart a bit. What also would be helpful is a drying rack for clothes (if there was one, we didn't find it), since sometimes you have fabrics that are too sensitive for the dryer. Also, more shelving space in the bathroom would be good.

It is a very nice and quiet location. On the other hand, it is only 5 minutes walk to stores, pubs and very close to the bus station. It is cosy and equipped with everything you need.

Bathroom could use some extra shelf and more hooks to hang clothes adn towels.

Excellent location, good sized apartment with a sweet garden and parking. Handy for shops, buses etc. the owner was very helpful. Beds comfy, works well enough for a short break we had five nights.

Needs some basic maintenance and TLC, eg cracked toilet seat, loose dripping tap in kitchen. My bedroom window catch felt loose so I didn't dare open it in case it broke. Bath tap not working as per instructions so needed to use shower head to fill bath. Oven - not sure what was happening but fumes got bad after using.
