previous people hadn’t washed pots properly cups had ring marks beans on plate. freezer had their food in. some food in cupboard

The kettle needed a de scale

The lodge is beautiful and in a lovely spot on the site, very quiet and private. We had the most relaxing chilled out time with almost everything you could need. Beds were lovely comfortable and clean, plenty of towels and little extras like hand soap and cleaning clothes/teatowel for the kitchen

Could do with a canopy over hot tub to use in all weather's and to be more private and as previous guests have said it needs a handbook explaining what's what. We did find the WiFi password in the kitchen drawer. We didn't realise the hot tub played music till the day we were coming home and wouldn't have known how to get it on without instructions. Although the lodge was clean it could do with a little tlc like cleaning around the doorways and decking and the cutlery/crockery needs to be checked for cleanliness we had to wash some of it before use. The lodge could benefit from some extra pans, we were OK for two of us but if the lodge was full to capacity you would struggle to cook a meal for everyone. Also high areas such as top of shower ledge needs to be cleaned it was very dusty...if you're paying top prices you expect top cleanliness. Having said all this it is a lovely top lodge, we have already recommended it and would definitely go again.

blown away by the property as a whole really fantastic place to stay will deffo be back as soon is we’re able.

couldn’t connect to the Wi-Fi whole time we were there but we had better family time for it. Only other things were small annoyances such as cushions for the seats out side had bits of dry food from other Guests on them. and could of done with a welcome pack explaining things such as Wi-Fi password as one on the box never worked , where the bins are on the sight, how to use the appliances and speakers in hot tub as couldn’t finger a few of them out.
