This is our second visit to the lodge this year and enjoyed it just as much as the first time. The lodge is lovely and spacious, very comfortable, good shower and very comfortable beds. The lodge is in a good position, very private and enjoyed the hot tub. location is great for sightseeing

Although the lodge is clean with lovely clean bedding and towels it does lack that extra bit of attention. The kettle was covered in limescale (I brought this up on our previous visit) and the extractor needs cleaning, when using it grease was running down the splash back. Windows and decking could do with cleaning especially the patio doors, sat looking at a lovely view obscured by dirty windows. I appreciate the previous visitors should clean crockery but this should be checked, we had to wash items before we could use them. I brought some of my own saucepans this time because I found on the previous visit there wasn't enough. Light bulbs need checking some were out and the main bathroom door lock does not work.

Everything about the lodge was just perfect. The size, space, cleanliness, facilities. Felt like a home

really clean all furniture , linen, crockery and home furnishings were of a very high standard the lodge was very private

only one small complaint was that there wasn’t a cover over the hot tub so we couldn’t use it on the second day of our stay because it was raining

I liked the design of the lodge it was modern and easy to use the hot tub was very nice and it was quite cold when we stayed there but it still stayed warm when you where in it with the over off it was a very enjoyable stay

When it rains you can here it on the roof quite load when you are trying to sleep and there is another strange noise when you are sleeping I couldn’t quite work out what it was sounded like someone walking around but I think it must have been the boiler and they sent me all these rules but when we got there a lot of the rules had already been crossed like there was a glass with a crack right down it and when we got in the hot tub there was bits of plastic which looked like they had come off the hot tub lieing in the bottom off the hot tub
