We have stayed here before, lovely loft great location

We had a problem with flies but I think this could of been due to the girls being flooded

We have recently stayed in one of your lodges, 9 the orchard. Upon arrival we had to contact a member of your team to fix many issues such as a large amount of flies around the inside of the lodge, all over the windows and roof, the curtain pole had fell down, the lock on the bathroom door didn’t work etc. He came and checked these issues himself and spoke to management on our behalf, we were told our options were to hoover up the flies or go home with a refund. Neither of which were great options as we had driven over 3 hours to the lodge and not all the issues were fixed. The more we looked the more issues were found around the whole of the lodge. The spotlights outside don’t all work, neither do the ones inside the lodge, several flies returned on the inside of the window, the bin hadn’t being emptied in the kitchen, dirt on the bathroom floor, dirt on the kitchen bench and tap and sink, the covers on the beds were covered in yellow stains and bugs, around the door frame hadn’t being cleaned, no cleaning products were provided to put this right and these are just a few of the many issues I can think of. We have photographed everything. Overall, the stay hasn’t being anywhere near as good or stress free as expected and me and my partner are really quite unhappy as we intended to make this a regular stay. I’m hoping there is something you can do to resolve this and look forward to hearing back from yourselves.

Lots of space, comfortable and well equipped

The lodge was beautiful, it was so cosy and warm on a cold day. The hot tub was so nice aswell, great after a long day of walking. We can’t wait to go back.

I just wish the check in could of been a little earlier and the checkout a little later as we felt like we didn’t get as much time here as we wanted ! Other than that nothing to complain about.

When we arrived the property was roasting hot. The heating must have been left on and it was the middle of summer.

Beautiful lodge, excellent location.

Extremely disappointing stay. Arrived to discover there was recently planned building and landscaping work being carried out throughout our stay. Builders began work approximately 8am and finished in the evening various times between 5 and 8pm. The work carried disrupted our 3 night stay. Patio door and windows had to be shut at all times due to noise from diggers, tippers, power tools being used throughout the day. When I complained I was informed by the receptionist that the owner had told her to inform me that if we didn’t like it we could leave. I was offered a cabin on another site which was not to the spec as paid for so politely declined offer. I observed other visitors visibly frustrated and upset as myself and 12 year old daughter was. There was no consideration for anyone who like myself booked this holiday some months ago. The owners clearly did not care about their clients.
