Siamo stati a casa masiello alcune settimane fa ,che dire ci siamo trovati benissimo in questa bellissima casa con un atmosfera unica rilassante e piena di storia .casa masiello si trova in pieno centro storico vicino a tutti i servizi, il proprietario Giovanni e stato gentilissimo e attento a soddisfare tutte le nostre esigenze consigliatissimo ritorneremo.

The location is a real sasso, a typical local place, but renovated for modern use. The result is a beautiful mix of history an modernity without any compromise on comfort. Giovanni is a great host and a lot more, he really cares about the guests understanding where they are, what's the Sassi, how the house was originally used.

Everything, it was a traditional house carved in the rocks. The owner explained all the details and the history of the place. It was like staying in a museum, different spaces for different utilities in the past, wonderful decoration, coffee machine and other things for breakfast

This property is magical. You are greeted by Giovanni who is an exceptional host who gives you all the information you need for your stay plus more. The passion he has for Matera and this house is incredible and once you learn the history of the place you will understand. This house is a must if you are looking for a wonderful stay in Matera.

Giovanni was an incredibly kind and helpful host, and even picked us up from the bus stop! The house was so cozy and magical, and the location was extremely convenient. We wished we could have stayed longer, and will hopefully be returning soon!

We loved it here. The house had everything we needed, and I loved that there was a sitting area at the back that was the original cave.. Matera can be difficult to find your way around, because of all the steps and narrow streets, but Giovanni gave us perfect directions, and lots of information about the history of the Casa . It has a lovely patio at the front to sit and have a drink or coffee. Thank you for a perfect stay.

Giovanni was very helpful with his tips about Matera. The apartment is located in an authentic cave which makes the experience extra special. The bed is comfortable. Terrace.

Everything about this apartment and experience was amazing. Giovanni was an amazing host and teacher of Materas history. We were right in the old center, and our street was quiet. The apartment was perfect!!
