In Centro Città

Die Lage ist unmittelbar bei der Altstadt. Es gibt ein Parking/Parkhaus, was in Matera eine Ausnahme ist. Es ist Teil des Gebäudekomplexes. Nicht billig aber sehr bequem. Wir hatten die grösste Wohnung. Diese war geräumig mit Küche, eigener Dachterasse und Sitzecke. Funktional und ein bisschen steril aber o.k.

Die Wohnung liegt etwa im 4. Stock und diesen erreicht man ausschliesslich über relativ schmale, sehr lange Treppen. Da muss alles hoch und wieder runter. Wenn man nicht gut zu Fuss ist, dann ist diese Unterkunft nicht zu empfehlen - denn obwohl die Empfangsangestellte sehr freundlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit ist - kann sie unmöglich das Gepäck, Einkäufe o.ä. da hoch wuchten. Ein Fahrstuhl gibt es nicht. Wenn man eher spät abends ankommt, wie wir, dann ist eine komplett leere Wohnung (2 kleine Wasserflaschen sind im Kühlschrank) vermutlich normal aber unschön. Wir mieten häufig eine andere Wohnung in Matera und da hat es immer essbare Kleinigkeiten (Brot, Käse, Wurst, Früchte usw.), so dass man sich am ersten Abend und am nächsten Morgen wenigstens ein bisschen verpflegen kann. Wir waren, aus Gewohnheit, nicht darauf gefasst der/die Leser dieses Kommentares können sich nun darauf vorbereiten.

The location was perfect, you exit the appartment and you are right in the old town/sassi and the appartment itself is very clean, spacious and modern.

The wifi was not working and I said it couple of times to the property manager, she advised that a technician came but the issue was not solved at all. This was inconvenient unfortunately.

Ottima accoglienza, la signora Vanna è una persona gentilissima, la struttura è situata praticamente in "centro città". Parcheggio comodissimo adiacente alla struttura 20 euro per 24 ore.

The location could not be better — when they say “steps from the city center,” they mean it! You walk out the door and are instantly in the heart of Matera. The hosts were wonderful, with warm humor and excellent recommendations that even reshaped our plans for the better. The room was huge, more like an efficiency apartment with everything we needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable (like a Tempur-Pedic), and the air conditioning kept us perfectly cool during a hot September spell. With hundreds of food options just steps away, there was no need for breakfast service.

Truly, there was very little to dislike — this was one of our favorite stays. An outstanding hub in Matera with unbeatable location, spacious comfort, and hosts whose humor and advice made our trip even better.

La struttura è a 100 metri del corso principale, ubicata sopra un parcheggio convenzionato, quindi arrivi lasci l’auto in tutta sicurezza e comodità, esci fuori 30 passi e se i in centro a Matera. Inoltre l’accoglienza è molto cordiale , Vanna è gentilissima ti spiega dove andare e consiglia anche localini ottimi per mangiare. Veramente non saprei consigliare di meglio.
