"A very comfortable stay in Matera"

Big nice clean property with 2 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom. They had a hair dryer which actually worked. Rooms were clean, the owner was responsive right from the time of booking and also greeted us upon our arrival and explained all the facilities. Train stop, bus stop were nearby. Terminal bus via Don Luigi Sturzo 4 min on foot. Sassi 20-30 min walk. At the. 2nd floor with stairs but manageable.

We missed a knife and scissor in the kitchen, no other complaints as such.

The hosts were incredibly nice and welcoming. The apartment itself was beautiful, very clean, and situated in a truly special location. We felt completely at home.

Il proprietario è una persona molto gentile e disponibile, nonostante il check in fatto in un orario non proprio comodo (h 23). Un appartamento in condominio, silenzioso, dotato di tutti i principali comforts, pulito, nuovo. È sito in posizione strategica per due motivi : a meno 5 Minuti di auto dalle aree di parcheggio,prima delle Ztl per entrare nella zona dei sassi. L altro motivo è che scendendo trovi tutto :minimarket, pompa benzina, tabacchi ristoranti,,bar etc

A proposito di bar, volendo essere pignoli ma equi, una piccola carenza è l'assenza di colazione ,ma lo sapevamo. Nulla di grave, basta scendere e trovi due bar che hanno tutto il necessario. In ogni caso l alloggio è provvisto di macchine e cialde per il caffè.
