Amazing river view in historical Lisbon

The view! It was clean and comfortable, and everything was provided that we needed, even down to clothes pegs. The location felt safe, and it was quiet. Great breakfast at the pastry shop close to the apartment.

It didn't bother us too much, but others should be aware that getting up the hill to the apartment block, and then up the stairs to the apartment, with a suitcase, is hard going! There's a slight smell of drains in the bathroom. A lot of the view is dominated by cruise ships for most of the time ☹️

Loved the location right in the heart of old Alfama with plenty of restaurants within a short walk. Some basic amenities to cook and clean with had been left for us to use as well as a small bottle of wine and cookies.

We didn’t realize it that we would have so many stairs to climb to get up to the room with our heavy bags needed for a 3 wk vacation. At times footsteps and voices of others inside and outside of the building were loud.

Great location and excellent host. Helena the house keeper was such a kind person - forgiving of our very poor Portuguese.

Stairs challenging with a large case but we knew that before we booked. Stairs not a problem otherwise.

Location

The apartment is in Lisbon's old quarter, so be ready for lots of stairs since it's on the second floor with no elevator. Unfortunately, there's no AC, and the cleanliness is below par, with subpar quality that doesn't match the price.

A wonderful view from the lounge. And great location for sights and restaurants

So many stairs in the building. And no windows in the bedrooms. And it was a pity that we didn’t meet Sophia.

Absolutely dreamy apartment. We stayed as a family of 3 with a toddler and whilst the roads around the apartment were steep and a bit hard work with a stroller, it was worth it. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated, is spacious and offers absolutely everything you could need and more. And that's before you get to the view and the location... Simply put, it's the sort of apartment you never want to leave. Fabulous!

The location and all arrangements were great

There was a strong smell in the bathroom after the toilet was flushed - I think due to water / drain issues outside host control. The apartment beyond that was great though - as advertised, well located and we slept very comfortably. Would revisit!

we had a smaller boy and it is not for families with children because the steps around the apartment are very loud and it disturbs the neighbors, There are no windows in the bedrooms
