The location was great - close to everything & could walk all around town from there. Stores, restaurants, etc just a few steps away. The apartment is spacious & comfortable & the air conditioner worked well. The Wi-Fi worked well in the living room & kitchen, but not well in the bedroom. There were 5 of us & plenty of room.

Arrangements for getting into the apartment were difficult. They wait until the apartment is cleaned ( close to check in time) to send the door codes to Booking.com. ( which is how I had booked the apartment). However, I didn’t have access to the internet to retrieve the codes from booking.com. & then once I finally got on booking.com, they had to send me a code to get the codes. I think they need to come up with an easier method. I was regretting my decision to rent the apartment, but was happy once we finally got inside.

The location, the spaciousness, the cleanliness

We had a huge problem with the property managers. The TV did not work, and despite contacting the managers who assured us a technician would call the next day, the TV did not work for the 4 days. BUT that was just a start. On the final evening, 29 April, we put a load of washing into the washer-dryer. It went through the cycle... and we could not open the machine at the end. We tried the manual, Googled for help and then contacted the property managers, on an emergency number. They said they could not help that evening, apologised and said someone would come the next day, and open the machine, but only after we had left the property . We noted that the door was already damaged, with what looked like knife marks around the handle. We did not want to do further damage and asked that our clothes be sent to our hotel in Santiago de Campostela, after a Camino by 10-11 May. That was agreed. BUT no parcel was there and I again contacted the property managers. More apologies, and they said they would contact people to send our clothes back home to Australia. A link arrived: 210 euros at OUR expense. Frustrated, I again contacted the managers and the tone changed. We were accused of damaging the machine door, which is wrong. And it seems we will never see our clothes again, despite all our contact with the managers over the past 17 days . Hence, the 'Bad' rating for what could have been a pleasant stay.

Die Lage in der Baixa ist sehr zentral und ideal, um Lissabon zu Fuß zu erkunden. Das Apartment war sauber, der Online-Check-in mit Zugangscodes funktionierte reibungslos.

Erhebliche Lärmbelästigung durch Bauarbeiten im direkt angrenzenden Nachbargebäude, bereits ab den frühen Morgenstunden. Auf diese Bauarbeiten wurden wir erst kurz vor der Anreise hingewiesen, nicht bei der Buchung. Die Küchenausstattung war mangelhaft: zu wenig Geschirr, Besteck und Gläser für 4 Personen. Es gab nicht einmal Teelöffel oder ein Geschirrhandtuch. Gemeinsame Mahlzeiten waren dadurch deutlich erschwert. Wenig kulanter Service: Unsere Bitte um ein kleines Entgegenkommen (späterer Check-out oder Möglichkeit, das Gepäck bis zum Abendflug abzustellen) wurde abgelehnt. Auch bezüglich des nicht angekündigten Baulärms wurde keinerlei Kulanz gezeigt. Der empfohlene Transferservice mit Herrn Mário war zwar freundlich und pünktlich, mit 45 € jedoch deutlich überteuert. Ein Uber fährt dieselbe Strecke vom Flughafen zum Apartment für maximal 20 €.

Die Lage und die Größe waren toll

Leider hatten wir kein WLAN Die Toilettenbrille muss ausgetauscht werden, weil sie total locker war.
